Sandra Simeon is a lead practitioner that has worked in social care for over 25 years in various capacities. These include: Youth engagement Officer, parenting facilitator, family support worker and senior family practitioner. She and members of her team within BTGS have also worked in various sectors including voluntary, private, local authority and educational settings as well as all London boroughs.

 

Her experience of working with families with children from birth to 19 years old has given her unique insight into the needs and struggles that parents and their children face. This has allowed for holistic support and strategies to meet these various needs. In our programs, working with young people in the inner city, we have seen how vital and important it is to work closely with both parents as much as possible to see true changes in behaviour. Having Sandra as a lead practitioner has strengthened our direct parental support.
