RTB stands for REMOVE THE BLINDFOLD
We are a youth collective from Bridge The Gap Studios! We are formed of young people all over London from the ages 12 to 19!
We use our diverse talents in music, drama, film, spoken word, art (and everything else) to raise awareness on topics that young people in our communities struggle with.
We also want to bring change through youth-lead solutions. Check out our campaign to raise awareness on PTSD and end stigmas around trauma and mental health.
WHAT I SAW BEFORE I COULD SEE
WHAT I SAW BEFORE I COULD SEE is a collection of poetry, stories, and testimonials about PTSD. About individual journeys of trauma, suffering, understanding and healing.
Poems & stories feature in the collection, as well as testimonials from practitioners, survivors and experts. This book challenges its readers to go through the process. The process of removing cultural and social blindfolds. The process of leaving behind bias, stigma and indifference. The process of exploring the terror and beauty that comes with truly understanding the pain of others.

In the PERSPECTIVE EP, we go musical! From our incredible sessions at Ocean Tide Production Studios, our Group debates and discussions, we draw on different genres (combining drill, afrobeats, R&B, spoken word and rap) to paint a picture of trauma that easily goes overlooked in various cultures.
PERSPECTIVE tackles trauma & difficult conversations between parents and children, as well as the long road to healing. Available on all streaming platforms. Click the link!
